Anne Halsted served in many capacities over the years, including as President, SF Port Commission, Vice Chair, Bay Conservation and Development Commission, and Chair, Northeast Waterfront Advisory Group.

She also played leadership roles in organizations that included THD (a term as president), SPUR (as president), Friends of Pioneer Park, Chinatown Community Development Corporation, North Beach Citizens, and many others. She was a true community leader. Tireless, dedicated, determined. Courageous facing her illness.
