Membership Committee

The Membership Committee functions to assist the Financial Secretary (also the Membership Committee chair) to promote membership in the Telegraph Hill Dwellers. The Financial Secretary is responsible for keeping the membership database, processing dues notices and maintaining mailing lists, both normal and electronic. Membership Committee members assist in the following ways:

• Staffing THD tables or booths at neighborhood events. Two standard events are the North Beach Fair in June and the newly reinstated Upper Grant Avenue Art Fair in September. Shifts are usually 2 hours and usually 2 to 3 persons are present at the table. Of course some help in set up and tear down is also very welcome.
• Keeping THD brochures in neighborhood businesses. Members keep track of a few businesses and make sure THD brochures are always supplied there.
• Assist the Financial Secretary with the record keeping by doing functions like standard dues mailings.
