Telegraph Hill Dwellers, in a joint venture with City Lights Bookstore,
has published a second edition of the scarce and costly
San Francisco's Telegraph Hill by David F. Myrick.
The original was published in 1972 and is so rare that people pay as much as $300 for a copy in good condition.
The second edition is an updated coffee-table book, illustrated with more than 300 photographs,
and offering tidbits of all-but-forgotten lore. The publication is fiercely and unapologetically local,
with detailed buiding-by-building accounts of who lived where and what they did to whom.

Many owners of the first edition have purchased copies of this new second edition because of the 40 added pages of text and photographs.
Also, using current printing technology, many of the original illustrations are much sharper.
